Scientists and other people operate the park and they wipe all the memory of this android host once their task is over, but as the show's storyline progresses, you see that even though android hosts are programmed and incapable of experiencing any emotion, they slowly start gaining feelings and showing erratic behavior. When this matter was investigated, it was discovered that a scientist called Dr. Robert had updated the android with a new update called Reverie, which has caused them to malfunction.
