About MasterChef Junior TV Show
MasterChef Junior is a reality TV show in which children aged 10 to 14 compete against each other in a series of culinary challenges. The contestants do not have any professional cooking experience and the Judges educate them on the techniques they will be challenged on. The children are judged on their skills, creativity and teamwork. The Master Chef Junior show was first premiered on Fox on 27 September 2013, it became famous among viewers since its first season, and now it is a very popular show that people like to watch every day. Fox has now given the green light to the show and said it would be live on their channel soon.
Concept Of The Show
In the eighth season of MasterChef Junior, kids between the ages of eight and thirteen from around the country who dream of becoming America’s next culinary prodigy will compete against each other. The show pits these budding cooks against each other in a series of intense challenges, with one contestant being eliminated at the end of each week until only one remains to take home the grand prize.
This show is a live cooking competition spanning 10 to 12 weeks that sees 12 to 15 contestants battle it out each week in a series of culinary challenges. Each contestant has different strengths, styles and personality, making this an entertaining watch. Every week the contestants are given a challenge to complete, they are given an ingredient and a theme or style they must follow throughout their cooking process.
The contestants have a limited amount of time to prep before they start to cook and after each challenge, the contestants must leave their fate in the hands of three judges, the only people who can save them from elimination. The judges taste their food and critique their dishes, after tasting, the judges deliberate and eliminate someone. The participant who wins the show's final challenge is awarded the title of MasterChef Junior Champion.
The Judges Of The Show
This season sees hosts and judges Gordon Ramsay, Christina Tosi and Aaron Sanchez again. They will guide America's young cooks through various challenges and rounds, such as a mystery box challenge, a family-style dinner service and a dessert cook-off. The challenges will be hard for our junior contestants, but it's nothing they can't handle with some hard work and determination.
Gordon Ramsay is an established Scots-born British chef, restaurateur and television personality, he and his restaurants have won many Michelin stars. He is continuously been a judge of the show since the beginning. Christina Tosi is a pastry chef and owner of an acclaimed New York City restaurant called Milk Bar, a haven of indulgent treats known for its Cereal Milk Ice Cream, Crack Pie and Trophy Pie.
Judge Aaron Sanchez is a famous Mexican Chef and TV personality who also owns a chain of Johnny restaurants in New Orleans, he has appeared on many shows, such as Chopped and Chopped It, before becoming a judge on this show.
