Lucifer is one of the favorite shows on Netflix today, with the fans waiting for every episode of the series. The three seasons of the show were released on FOX before it got canceled, however, the fans of the show campaigned for Netflix to save Lucifer. Luckily, the streaming platform was obliged for a month after the cancellation of the series.  


As of now, Lucifer has six seasons, Season 6 was released on Netflix way back on Friday, September 10, 2021. In addition, the fans of the show demanded to have Lucifer Season 7 on Netflix.

However, the fans are lucky as Netflix revealed that there are more than six episodes for Season 5, making the show have a total of 16 episodes. Meanwhile, the fans of Lucifer don’t give up and still expect that there is a possibility to have season 7 on Netflix next year. 


The creative team and cast believed that Season 6 would be the last season, thus, they’ve already provided the fans with a satisfying conclusion to the show. 


Lucifer Season 7 Renewal Rumours


Nothing has been officially confirmed by Netflix but rumour is rife that there could be an annouchment for lucifer season 7.


How many episodes are there? 


Lucifer already released 83 episodes for the five seasons, heading to season 6. Season 6 of Lucifer will be having ten episodes, which brings a total of 93 episodes. It means that the series will end before reaching 100 episodes.
