If you are looking for a new show to watch that has lots of adventure, you should check out the Kings of Pain. Kings of Pain is a whole new concept of wildlife TV and this series is available on the History channel. You will find this show both hilarious and weird, at the same time.
As you now know, this is a wildlife series show, so you will be seeing two biologists on an adventure exploring the Amazon. In this show, these two biologists are both on a mission to rank the venomous sting of animals and insects, they intentionally allow themselves to be bitten or stung by dangerous and often lethal wild venomous creatures, this could be anything from a wasp to a venomous snake. This research is something which they think will be important in saving lives.
This is not the first time anyone has tried these weird and lethal stunts, in 1983, a Dr. Justin started this concept of a pain index, and he too used to rank venomous creatures on a scale of 1 to 4. This show is based on a similar concept, and now these two biologists, Thorn and Alleva, are trying to up the level by introducing new categories in the pain index, they want to take the scale to thirty, which is very dangerous.
So, you can expect lots of pain and adventures as the biologists explore different creatures living in the wild. Do not worry as they are experts and they know what they are doing they are also well aware of how dangerous it can be to get bitten or stung by venomous creatures.
The hosts of the show are Rob Alleva and Adam Thorn, Adam is a wildlife biologist, he says that he developed an interest in animals at the very young age of 4 yrs. He mainly focuses on studying wildlife rescue missions and helps wild animals by removing traps and by moving animals to safer locations. He is a snake expert and he is a certified snake handler who knows more than a thing or two about venom. Whereas Rob is a self-taught animal handler who loves to travel and explore remote places and exotic animals. He is now on a mission to make people aware of the danger from these lethal and very dangerous wild animals.
So, now you know why they are both perfect as the show's hosts, they are serious about their work which often entails being chased, bitten and stung by dangerous and venomous wild animals.
The release date of season 2 is not yet confirmed, and it is likely that it will take some time to get official confirmation on the date. The unique concept of this show attracted many viewers, so, if you have not yet seen it you can watch the previous season on the history channel.
