About HALO TV Show

Halo is an American sci-fi series that is going to release on Paramount plus. The show is based on the iconic game franchise and is created by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane. The show makers have confirmed that Paramount has given the green light on the renewal of the show for another season.

Producing this series

The series is based on the game franchise of the same name. Back in 2013, it was announced that a TV series would be adapted to push the Xbox on multimedia, then later, a year after the announcement, Xbox studios closed, and the series Halo was then picked up by Showtime. Unfortunately, the making of the Halo series was very expensive, so it took four years for Showtime to finally decide to make it.

In 2018, filming and production of the show started under Showtime, but halfway through, the corona pandemic stopped the series from happening, so the show makers decided to switch studios, and finally, they went with Paramount+. Now that the series production is completed, fans are anticipating the series to be launched soon.

What can you expect from the series?

As you know, the series is based on the game, so you will find similarities between the game and the plot. The show's story will start with humans living in the 26^th century who are dealing with the issues and conflict with aliens called Covenant. It is a sci-fi, action-adventure series, meaning that every episode will be filled with the emotions and challenges of people.

The series gives an insight into the writer’s vision of the future, the show makers have given the writer freedom to write the scripts, so it will not be the same as the game and viewers can expect many twists and turns in the following series.

In the main cast list, you will find Pablo Schreiber, who is playing the lead role of Master Chief Officer John-117. Another cast member of the show is Natascha McElhone, who will play the role of Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Halsey. Yerin Ha and Charlie Murphy will be seen as Kwan Ha Boo and Maker, Shabana Azmi as Admiral Parangosky, Bokeem Woodbine as Soren-066, Olive Gray will be playing the role of Miran Keyes, Kate Kennedy as Kai -125 and Danny Sapani as Captain Jacob Keyes.

Is it renewed for the second season?

In the second season, Master Chief John-117 (played by Pablo Schreiber) takes charge of his squad of top-notch Spartans as they face off against the alien menace known as the Covenant.
