Borgen is a Danish TV series that first aired on TV in 2010 and ran for three seasons, the show is based on a Danish political drama and it was written and created by Adam Price. Netflix saw the opportunity to produce a good drama show and, with DR1 original network, announced the revival of the show. The show's fans are really happy as it was an inspiring show which they thought had ended back in 2013 with the final episode of the third season. About The Plot

 

Apart from the news that season four of the show, Borgen, will be released in spring this year, they also announced that the show's fourth season would be called Borgen; Power and Glory. The show is a thriller and was a hit show as it is said to be inspired by the true story of Denmark. The show revolves around the story of a woman named Birgitte Nyborg, she is a lead politician representing the minority political party. She is shown as an extremely talented and fearless leader who knows how to deal with pressure and tough political drama.

 

She is a very professional politician and soon she realizes that she could become prime minister of Denmark, she starts working hard for it and takes a few difficult decisions on her way to becoming Prime Minister of Denmark. As the story progresses, she has to leave Denmark due to some political circumstances, but she never gives up hope. She faces many challenges after her resignation and losing her position in the party, but she returns by forming her own political party called the New Democrats.
