About Unsellable Houses TV Show

HGTV has ordered new episodes of two more first-year series - Unsellable Houses and 100 Day Dream Home. Both series join the network's expanding roster of strong ratings performers launched less than a year ago, including Celebrity IOU and Fixer to Fabulous. After attracting more than 18 million total viewers in its first season, Unsellable Houses has been renewed for 13 episodes slated to premiere in early 2021. The series stars sisters Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis - who are among the top-selling real estate agents in the Pacific Northwest - as they help struggling homeowners sell their seemingly unsellable homes in record time. 100 Day Dream Home, which reached more than 14 million total viewers in season one, has been picked up for eight episodes that will premiere in late 2020. The new season will continue to spotlight husband-wife team Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt who help clients create their perfect custom home in Tampa, Florida, in 100 days or less. "Every day we keep the HGTV team focused on finding and cultivating expert personalities so that we can create shows that have a fresh twist," said Jane Latman, president, HGTV. "Unsellable Houses and 100 Day Dream Home attracted a significant number of viewers after just one season and that is a big win for the HGTV pipeline." In the Unsellable Houses, sisters Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis - who are among the top-selling real estate agents in the Pacific Northwest - help struggling homeowners sell their seemingly unsellable homes in record time. Lyndsay, an expert in home renovation, design and staging, and Leslie, an expert in budget and negotiations, are so confident they can sell any home that they're willing to invest their own money to make the sale.

Season 2

Renewed March 30th, 2021

The new episodes not only spotlight the spunky sisters' booming real estate and renovation business - which now includes a new office space, a growing staff and a retail storefront - but also their busy family lives. Lyndsay and Leslie have their kids help with their renovation projects, teach their teenage sons how to drive, plan birthday parties and welcome new furry members to the family. "Lyndsay and I are the perfect balance - she has the keen eye for design, and I know our local market better than anyone," said Leslie. "We thrive on executing strategic renovations that get our clients' houses sold in record time and get the most return on their investment." In the season opener, Lyndsay and Leslie take on a drab Craftsman-style home that sat on the market for months. To address the home's issues that have kept buyers at bay, the sisters reimagine the exterior, install a new roof and implement an open floor plan that they expect will secure top dollar offers. During the episode, they also brighten a secluded mid-century modern bungalow, give a small ranch-style home an inviting backyard space with a party deck and modernize a property with unappealing and outdated finishes.

Binnie says

I really hope Unsellable Houses is renewed for a second season. I binged the first season in a couple days. Love the funny twin/sisters connection between them.

Pam Thompson says

Absolutely love this show and the twin sisters. They do a remarkable job for very little money and the return on their investment is amazing to say the least. It just proves a small investment on your home = large return when you sell. You go girls!

Dianne Mosser says

Hope it's renewed. Gives good suggestions.

S. Paugh says

Praying it will be renewed. It is far better than any current design show on HGTV. Nothing will ever replace Magnolia - Joanna Gaines, but they come close. I love their designs and they are so enjoyable to watch:)

Ann Clegg says

Love this show. So hope it is renewed.

Janet R Reddy says

I've watched the show several times and compared the sisters to other decorating show hosts. They seem less concerned with their appearance of professionalism than others. I'm sure they work hard, but they don't come across as designers. I'd be more impressed if they were more well-groomed and less "driven"..

Cathy Hamilton says

I really like this show. Hope they renew it for a second season.

Lani says

I love this show!!! The sisters are so cute and funny!!! I absolutely love their decorating ideas, you can learn a lot from them. I really really hope it is renewed!

Kathleen Holm says

Awesome show! Hope it is renewed.

Edith McGlynn says

Just discovered "Unsellable Houses". When was it aired originally??? I watch HGTV regularly and never saw a promo or any announcement. Do not think the network even has given it a chance. Far superior to "Christina on the Coast"--yuk. Much broader audience potential. Great concept. KEEP IT

Connie says

Unsellable House is a great, informative show. I really hope it is renewed.
