Why does season 4 go back in time before other episodes? Season 3 was a perfect ending and season 4 goes back to the beginnings of the restaurant. Very confusing. Please explain!

You simply must not ever end The Restaurant. These characters and kitchen subplots could go on forever. It's so much better than All My Children and The Young and the Restless. I worked in restaurants and love everything about this series. My goodness we have to know about Suzanne and Peter of course.
