About The Astronauts TV Show

The brand-new live-action series follows a group of kids who embark on the adventure of a lifetime when they are mistakenly launched into space. The spacecraft Odyssey II is set to launch on a mission to retrieve a foreign object that could potentially save mankind. The plan quickly goes awry when five untrained kids use their parents' security clearances to sneak onto the empty ship. Soon after they board, the onboard AI system triggers the launch sequence. Unable to stop the ship from blasting off, the kids must assume their new role as astronauts and brave harrowing tasks, as their parents rush to find a way to take control of the situation.

I am 55 years young and I watched this remarkable show series with my grandchildren and was truly impressed with what Nickelodeon did with bringing kids and adults together to make this show successful especially with the children holding the lead roles; so yes please bring it back.

Best Nick show I have seen, you would be nuts to cancel a good thing esp since they are not home yet. You going to leave them stuck in space for eternity?

Seriously loved this show. Family friendly entertainment with genuine and repeatable characters. Can't imagine why this show hasn't been renewed yet. Every comment to keep probably represents 10K people who don't comment tbh.

I love this show so if Nickelodeon cancels it it’s gonna get a lot of hate. I think this is great for a family show, even the 15 year old in my house wanted to watch it I would say great for ages 7+ ( consider your child’s sensitivity though) but overall amazing show and would hate it to go down 😿

I would consider this a dead show as Albert Nicholas, who played Charlie Collins on The Astronauts, revealed that there are no plans for a second season in an interview with Nerds and Beyond. Sucks as it was a good plot and they left a cliffhanger.

Nick’s stupidity proven; They canceled this show, obviously not thinking much of the following. Funny, though, that the only way to rewatch season one is to purchase it from Amazon Prime TV??? Does not sound like a show without value, does it? It only proves my headline; Nick is indeed stupid.
