Swamp People Serpent Invasion is an American based wildlife documentary series, first launched by The History channel, it is a third spin-off show of the Swamp People. The show is full of action as the host explores this place filled with lethal and venomous snakes and pythons.
The show revolves around the swamps near Florida, where The Burmese pythons invade the Everglades. Unfortunately, the situation is getting worse as the pythons are wiping out many of the animals in the Florida Everglades, with the remaining animals being considered as endangered. The hosts are on a mission to deal with these lethal pythons and want to eradicate them from the whole area. People loved this show as they experienced the intense encounter between man and python, the python is a very aggressive and fast-moving breed that is generally fearless, and this is why they do not have any natural predators.
The Swamp People Serpent Invasion is the spin-off series of Swamp People. The Swamp people series is an original History channel series released on 22 August 2010, the show was based on alligator hunting and the hosts used to hunt the American alligators present in the swamps, in total, the show to date has run for 12 seasons. The show included the hunting of alligators in the Louisiana state, and the first season was filmed there for about 30 days. The show hosts followed traditional hunting techniques to hunt the alligators.
In this third spin-off show, Swamp People's Serpent Invasion, the show's hosts, presenters and experts in hunting down venomous snakes, such as python, were Tony Hirst, Troy Landry, Bruce Mitchell, Zak Catchem, Chase Landry and Bill Booth. There are two seasons of the show so far, each of which have 12 episodes.
In the first season, viewers saw the return of the hunters to Florida, intent upon catching the python that was destroying the Everglades. In the second season, they found hunting a little bit difficult as the python had bred so fast that it was a challenge to keep track of all those in the area.
Troy Landry is also known as the King of Swamp, so he was a perfect fit for the show, likewise, Zak Catchment is the invasive hunter and Bill Booth is the expert on snakes in the Florida area. This means they all make the perfect team to battle with these aggressive creatures.
The second season of The Serpent Invasion was aired on the History channel in May 2021, there is no news on the renewal of the third season, so fans of the show may have to wait for some time to hear the confirmation from the show makers. Overall, the show is exciting and viewers enjoyed every bit of hunting pythons in both seasons.
