This series is alternatively known as Knights of the Zodiac and originates from Japan. This anime series follows the lives of five mystical warriors known as saints, the goal of these saints is to defend the mystical Greek goddess Athena’s re-births dream. She intends to return to Earth to combat other gods that want to take over the Earth.
These warriors fight in unique armor that are called “Cloth” and the design on each warrior's cloth is quite different from the other. Each warrior gets to choose a guardian angel, and it is the symbol of that deity that he uses to decorate his robe.

The Plot
The story of Saint Seiya follows the life of an Orphan known as Seiya, who was given the mandate of traveling to Greece to retrieve an armor worn by the Greek goddess Athena warriors, who were collectively known as the “Saints.” He successfully recovered the garment, which in turn empowered him with some supernatural powers.
Seiya’s desire to search for his missing sister influences his decision to go and fight in the Galaxy tournament. He was successful again, and this made him a “Bronze saint.”
In subsequent episodes, betrayals and wars of elimination between the different classes of saints keep the viewers glued to their screens and looking forward to the next series every single time.
It becomes interesting when the fights continue in the underworld, even after the “Saints” have died. You can see the “Saints” that have traveled to the underworld teaming up to fight Hades so that they can record a victory against him.

The main antagonists in this anime series are the black saints. They were servants of Phoenix Ikki whose mission was to kill the Bronze Saints.
The other antagonists were some Silver and Gold Saints who had dealings and became deceived by the personality of Gemini and began to do evil through the course of the series.
Is Seiya in love with Soari?
Well, at the start of the series, Seiya seems to be in love with Saori, but through the course of the series, it becomes clear that Seiya is not in love with Soari and was just being nice to her.
