A spinoff of the Australian sensation Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, the swinging 1960's crime series Ms. Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries follows the fearless and spirited Peregrine Fisher (Logie Award-nominated Geraldine Hakewill, Wanted), the niece of world-class adventuress and private detective Phryne Fisher, as she inherits a windfall from her famous aunt and sets out to become an exceptional sleuth in her own right. This is a great show! Love the characters and the interactions between them. It is a well written show and deserves to be renewed for at least another season or two.

Love the show ! I'm a French speaking Belgian. Ms. Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries is a breath of fresh air compared to those other shows that are all stuck in the same time period (the turn of the 20th century). Modern Mysteries takes place in 1964 and 1965, it has just the right amount of frivolity and the costumes are fantastic. Season 1 had 4 episodes and season 2 had 8. A great progression...maybe the third season will have 16? One can only hope. Please, Acorn gods, renew the show
