I grew up watching the original Magoo cartoons as a kid growing up in the 80's when they were shown on channel 11 wpix nyc. This new series of Mr Magoo is absolutely hilarious!! I have had a great time as an adult watching the misadventures of a less cranky, more loveable Magoo and his ever patient loyal, and sausage loving dog Mr. Cat as they always wind up accidentally foiling the plans of Fizz and Weasel. I hoep this gets renewed for a season 2 on CBS All Access! Great fun for the entire family!

As a nearsighted person who wears glasses, I have always found the "comedy" in Mr. Magoo cartoons (and the movie) to make me sad, offend and even scare me, and it is quite depressing. I wish the character never existed, and I hope cancel-culture claims Magoo as one of its victims.
