Each episode brings viewers spectacular imagery and follows the lions day and night as the drama unfolds. With the use of military-grade thermal imagery, their cameras capture remarkable night-time behavior, including predation and the dramatic plight of a lost cub. But some of the most surprising action plays out in broad daylight, as Nathan and Sam witness the astonishing feminine tricks employed by the MK lionesses to manipulate the young male invaders through distraction mating, showing false signs of being sexually receptive for several days to minimize the aggression of the invading males.

The producer Andres Jackson produced the show with the help of Kate Beetham, Beth Brook is the whole series producer.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Big Cat Country is a large venture between Love Nature 4K, Blue Ant Media and Smithsonian Networks and this made sure that the series was seen throughout the whole world. Bring back Big Cat Country I am Hooked on this show. I’m patiently waiting for Season 2 then Season 3 etc. It’s good tv ? because it shows lions first hand how they live. Me too for Two! I thoroughly enjoyed season 1. Its very well made, with some excellent camera shots and real action. I'd love to be in those cars and taking pictures. The program is such an opportunity to bring to the masses, the struggle of species in Africa yet with a personal touch. Greatly enjoyable and should be renewed, expanded and continued. I sure hope there is a season 2. the nature channel has done well to bring us season 1. The Big cats are great to watch as they live with their prides and I want to see them survive in nature. Compared to all the guns and violence and crappy shows on TV, these cats can teach people how they live too. Please bring this program back.

I started watching Big Cat Country around this time last summer and was instantly hooked. This is such a beautiful program documenting individual lions and their prides. You get to know them and become invested in their daily life struggles to stay alive and to raise their young. It is a truly fascinating and educational program that is beautifully filmed that I would hate to see end. I continue to watch the reruns even though I have seen them numerous times now. I have been anxiously awaiting the next season and been watching for it since April. I was shocked to read that such a quality program could be cancelled. Please do not cancel this program.

I absolutely love love this show!!!! Please whatever you do, please don&#x27;t cancel this show. It was so amazing and it taught me so much about how lions live. The Lioness is the TRUE PRIZE in the pride. Such a strong creature and the mothering they give there cubs had me in tears!!! But I thought that the punks ran the Muwamba Pride in Luangwa Valley? And also Kimba and his siblings was part of the Muwamba Pride. What happened to the other punk brother Spike? It was 3 of them? And where is Milo the cub that was scared to cross the river? Did the name change from Muwamba Pride to MK3? I know its true, because I watch every lion documentary.
