The second installment of the franchise, "Below Deck Mediterranean" has posted the largest P18-49 ratings growth of any television series that's been airing for the last four years, and is one of only three series across all of television with three consecutive years of P18-49 growth. On "Below Deck Sailing Yacht," Parsifal's existing crew Captain Glenn Shephard and yachtie couple Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan, are joined for the charter season by Chef Adam, Jenna MacGillivray, Byron Hissey, Madison Stalker, Georgia Grobler and Parker McCown. When the sails are up, the crew's already difficult job gets tougher as they must contend with maneuvering the sails in high winds and adapting to the steep tilt of the boat, all while troubleshooting the needs of the guests and any issues that may arise. Constantly at the whim of the wind, it's a sailing lover's paradise and getting there is part of the fun as they visit the colossal cliffs, explore the breathtaking sites and the beaches in the sun-drenched Ionian Sea. The physicality of working on a sailing yacht brings new challenges to these young, attractive and adventurous yachties who are ready to work hard and play harder. Below deck, tensions between the crew are amplified by the conditions of working aboard a sailing yacht which has a sleeker design than their motor yacht counterparts, with a smaller galley, almost non-existent stew stations and cramped living quarters. And while two yachties start a roller coaster romance so intense that it might sink the yacht, resident couple Paget and Ciara's existing relationship gets pushed to new boundaries.
<p>Captain Glenn Shephard, along with his team, begin their voyage in an extravagant yacht to embark on a journey of exploration of the crystal-clear, pristine blue waves from the Ionian Sea. The viewers find the opening of Below Deck Sailing Yacht's third season a bit uneasy and uncomfortable for the newbie Gabriela Barragan. The charter's first group of guests made the most of their journey's first night on the Parsifal III yacht. However, Gabriela embroils herself into a situation to take the chief guest of the charter McCordia to bed after she feels that a few of his remarks about her were very inappropriate and below the belt. In the episode, we see Gabriela saying that "in my 10 years of high-end bartending, if I know how to do anything, it's how to talk to drunk people, how to tell them to f--k off super politely," during her continued interactions with McCordia. After taking McCordia to bed, Gabriela says that it was "very weird", which shows her discomfort with the incident. The very next morning, Gabriela is approached by McCordia, where he shows remorse for his actions, and apologizes to her for whatever happened the night before.</p> <p> </p> <p>He says that "I hope I didn't offend you last night," he tells the second stew, who replies, "No, I mean, you did not offend me. You know, when I was like, 'Hey, let's keep it professional,' you did. That's all I asked. Thank you for bringing it up."</p> <h2><br /><br />Episodes:</h2> <h3>EPISODE 1: Tom Foolery</h3> <p>In this first episode, we see Captain Glenn return to board the Parsifal III yacht while continuing the voyage with a few familiar people, including Gary, Colin and Daisy. We see the chef Marcos busy serving the guests as he is determined to make the journey and the season a trip to remember for all the guests.</p> <h3><br />EPISODE 2: Age-Old Problems</h3> <p>The yacht Parsifal III’s fresh crew members struggled to make things work for the execution of the first charter, successfully. While the chef serves all the charter guests with complete hospitality, Gabriela is determined to prove herself as a better candidate to bag the title of the second stew.</p> <p>Other episodes of the show are yet to be released.</p> <h2> </h2> <h2>Other Facts:</h2> <p>Daisy Kelliher admitted that making a return to the show was not at all an easy task, although she was a part of the previous seasons as well. She called the experience "traumatizing" while having tears in her eyes. <br /><br /></p> <p>Kelliher stated that she certainly had some sleepless nights, as well as tears, and that everybody was shocked to see her crying since she usually doesn’t.”<br /><br /></p> <p>She further revealed that “I think I trusted the process more,” she continued. And added, “I was more comfortable with the cameras, I knew the boat, there was a lot more last year, the fact that it was a whole new crew, a new boat, for me.”<br /><br /></p> <p>She added that her cordial relations with a few members of the cast helped fix her anxiety issues.</p> <p> </p>
