About Bargain Mansions TV Show

HGTV has picked up an additional eight one-hour episodes of Bargain Mansions starring home renovator Tamara Day. The Kansas City-based series, which attracted more than 11.2 million total viewers in its sophomore season, follows the busy mother of four as she snags unbelievable deals on large downtrodden properties. To attract top dollar from the right buyer, Tamara works to preserve the historic charm and unique architectural features of these large bargain homes, while incorporating modern layouts and luxurious amenities. The new season of Bargain Mansions is slated to premiere in spring 2020.

IF Tamara would choose renovations in keeping with the era of each mansion...; IF she would allow her Dad to narrate more than a “yes”/“no”...; IF Tamara would actually DO more of the grunt work, than she says she does...; IF she’d give more screen-time to others (workers, Dad, kids,etc) than to herself...; then I’d say renew! Obviously, I’m not a huge Tamara fan as is...much room for improvement!!

Bargain Mansions is the best show on HGTV. Certainly the criticisms I have read about her show could be made of other shows, such as Good Bones. She is more knowledgeable Of design than many of the other TV hosts. My friend tells me it is a favorite in Canada.

If HDTV is going to cancel shows like Bargan Mansions, Hown Town and other related shows. I will have to find something else to watch. Shame on you HDTV

I enjoy watching the HGTV shows especially Bargain Mansion. Tamara is an ingenious interior decorator. I would love to have her just give me some decorating ideas for my 1920's home which is located in upstate New York. Can't consult because I don't have the money. However, I will continue to watch and enjoy her work.
